Mr. Joseph Jamison
Mr. Jamison is a Board Member and Executive Director of the Princeton Wrestling Club. In addition, he serves as the head coach for both the PWC Elite and Tiger Cubs programs. His son, Henry, is a member of the Tiger Cubs program. Jamison is a USA Wrestling Bronze certified coach and also served as an assistant coach at Princeton University for 11 years. Prior to working at Princeton, he was the head coach at Lawrence Middle School in Lawrenceville, NJ for two seasons, in which his team won the county championship in his first season.
Before he began his coaching career, Jamison competed at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. He compiled a record of 32-20 in two varsity seasons. Jamison graduated from King’s in 2001 with degrees in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education and was a member of the 2000 Middle Atlantic Conference All-Academic Team.
Jamison wrestled at Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster, Pa. Over three varsity seasons, he compiled a record of 75-35, including a 34-6 campaign in 1997. Jamison was a two-time Philadelphia Catholic League All-Catholic selection and a National Prep All-American.
Jamison is a 5th grade teacher with the Cranbury School District in Cranbury, NJ and serves as the head wrestling coach. In addition, he is on the Graphite Council for Pencils of Promise, a non-profit organization that builds schools and educates children in developing countries.
Coach Jamison earned a master’s degree from Saint Joseph’s University in Integrating Technology into the Curriculum. He currently resides in Langhorne, Pa, with his wife, Brooke, son Henry, and daughter Ella.
